Operation 5 Terreis a campaign in which Sea Shepherd Italia supports the Park Authority in protecting the Cinque Terre Marine Protected Area, a biodiversity sanctuary comparable to the waters of the Atlantic. Volunteers patrol the area to combat illegal fishing and unauthorized access, and to educate residents and tourists about noise pollution that threatens the communication and reproduction of fish and cetaceans. Our commitment focuses on the most sensitive areas of the Park, to ensure compliance with the rules protecting a unique ecosystem.
