Operation Syracuse is the campaign through which Sea Shepherd Italy protects the Plemmirio Marine Reserve in Sicily from poaching. The goal is to defend vulnerable species such as dusky groupers and sea urchins through constant patrols in close collaboration with local authorities. Volunteers document illegal activities and support efforts to combat poaching within one of the Mediterranean's most valuable marine protected areas. Those who wear this graphic support Sea Shepherd against poaching, for a sea free from those who exploit it without rules.
