Operation Syracuse is the campaign through which Sea Shepherd Italy protects the Plemmirio Marine Reserve, in Sicily, from poaching. The objective is to defend vulnerable species such as dusky groupers and sea urchins, through constant patrols in close collaboration with local authorities. Volunteers document illegal activities and support the fight against poaching within one of the most valuable marine protected areas in the Mediterranean. Those who wear this graphic support Sea Shepherd against poaching, for a sea free from those who exploit it without rules.
