Operation Torre Guaceto is the campaign through which Sea Shepherd Italy defends the biodiversity of the Apulian coasts, in collaboration with the Torre Guaceto Protected Marine Area. The objective is to protect precious species such as seahorses, sea urchins, and sea cucumbers from poaching, through patrolling, documentation, and awareness-raising in the territory. Volunteers support Park staff and law enforcement agencies in the constant monitoring of one of Italy's most biodiverse marine protected areas. Those who wear this graphic choose which side they are on: the side of those who defend the sea, not those who plunder it.
