Operation Torre Guacetois the campaign through which Sea Shepherd Italy defends the biodiversity of the Apulian coasts, in collaboration with the Torre Guaceto Marine Protected Area. The objective is to protect precious species such as seahorses, sea urchins, and sea cucumbers from poaching, through patrolling, documentation, and awareness-raising in the territory. Volunteers work alongside Park staff and law enforcement in the constant monitoring of one of Italy's most biodiverse marine protected areas. Those who wear this graphic choose which side they are on: that of those who defend the sea, not those who plunder it.
