Anguilla Campaignis the mission with which Sea Shepherdcombats the poaching of European eel elvers, a species currently at critical risk of extinction. In undercover collaboration with the Guardia di Finanza and Carabinieri Forestali, volunteers conduct investigation, documentation, and anti-poaching activities along the Italian coasts. These interventions lead to the seizure of illegal equipment, sanctions for poachers, and the release of live elvers back into the sea, giving them an increased chance of survival. Wearing it means taking a stand against a silent trade that is driving a species to extinction.
