Anguilla Campaignis the mission through which Sea Shepherdcombats the poaching of juvenile European eels, a species currently at critical risk of extinction. In undercover collaboration with the Guardia di Finanza and Carabinieri Forestali, volunteers conduct investigation, documentation, and anti-poaching activities along the Italian coasts. These interventions lead to the seizure of illegal equipment, penalties for poachers, and the release of live juvenile eels back into the sea, giving them an increased chance of survival. Wearing it means taking a stand against a silent trade that is leading a species to extinction.
